Secretary of State Marco Rubio is kicking butt all over the place these days. He just informed stone-cold racist South African Ambassador Ebrahim Rasool that he is not welcome in the United States, period.
Rasool is a piece of work. Not only is he a radical Muslim, but he has communist connections as well. He contributed an article to the African Communist in 1993. He established Muslims Against Oppression (MAO) in 1983. The name changed to The Call of Islam in 1984, and it was connected to the communist United Democratic Front when it was in existence. He has also served on the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC).
Rubio Smacks Down a South African Racist
Rubio made the announcement via X on Friday. It occurred after Rasool accused President Trump of leading a global White supremacist movement, according to Fox News.
Rasool Accuses MAGA of White Supremacy
The South African Islamist made the accusation on Thursday while addressing the Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection (MISTRA) in Johannesburg. He was elaborating on Trump’s opposition to South Africa’s expropriation law and its anti-Israel stance.
Rasool’s racist claim was that “Trump’s Make America Great Again movement was a white supremacist response to demographic changes in the U.S.,” Fox News reported.
“What Donald Trump is launching is an assault on incumbency, those who are in power, by mobilizing a supremacism against the incumbency, at home, and, I think I’ve illustrated, abroad as well,” he proclaimed.
“So in terms of that, the supremacist assault on incumbency, we see it in the domestic politics of the USA, the MAGA movement, the Make America Great Again movement, as a response not simply to a supremacist instinct, but to very clear data that shows great demographic shifts in the USA in which the voting electorate in the USA is projected to become 48% white,” Rasool continued making it abundantly clear that he hates white people and Trump.
Rubio was sickened by it, as he should be, and went beast mode on the ambassador on X:
“South Africa’s Ambassador to the United States is no longer welcome in our great country. Ebrahim Rasool is a race-baiting politician who hates America and hates @POTUS. We have nothing to discuss with him and so he is considered PERSONA NON GRATA.”
Trump Nails South Africa
Trump has been very vocal in his criticism of South Africa over its land expropriation law which allows the government there to seize land without compensation. He issued an executive order in February penalizing South Africa over it.
According to the Associated Press, “The order criticized the black-led South African government on multiple fronts, saying it is pursuing anti-white policies at home and supporting ‘bad actors’ in the world like the Palestinian militant group Hamas and Iran.”
The executive order was blunt in charging the country with racism and tyranny.
“In shocking disregard of its citizens’ rights, the Republic of South Africa recently enacted Expropriation Act 13 of 2024 to enable the government of South Africa to seize ethnic minority Afrikaners’ agricultural property without compensation,” the order notes.
“It is the policy of the United States that, as long as South Africa continues these unjust and immoral practices that harm our Nation: (a) the United States shall not provide aid or assistance to South Africa; and (b) the United States shall promote the resettlement of Afrikaner refugees escaping government-sponsored race-based discrimination, including racially discriminatory property confiscation,” it added.
“The United States cannot support the government of South Africa’s commission of rights violations in its country or its undermining United States foreign policy, which poses national security threats to our Nation, our allies, our African partners, and our interests,” the order said.
Naturally, the left and the media claim the charges are false, but there seems to be overwhelming evidence otherwise.
The executive order also examined the country’s position against Israel. South Africa has accused the Jewish state of committing genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in the International Court of Justice. The country also has ties to Iran regarding commercial, military, and nuclear arrangements.
“The South African government has claimed whites of all backgrounds, not just Afrikaners, still own approximately 70% of South Africa’s land. The government is on record saying the Expropriation Act will only be used to take land needed for public purposes — such as for a new school — from people of any color when the owner refuses to sell, and even then there would be ‘fair and equitable compensation,’” according to Fox News.
Rasool is a National Security Threat
Per the Daily Wire, national security experts at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, Max Meizlish and Richard Goldberg, recommended to President Trump in January to revoke Rasool’s credentials due to his extremism.
The Hill reported at the time, “Rasool’s track record represents all that is wrong with South Africa’s foreign policy under the [African National Congress]. He has hosted senior Hamas operatives. He has reportedly praised Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin as ‘one of the greatest inspirations.’ Just two weeks before the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas terror attack against Israel, Rasool gloated about receiving a signed keffiyeh from the group’s former political leader, Ismail Haniyeh, whom Israel assassinated last July.”
Not only has Rasool stood in defense of Iran, he has also gone to bat for Russia and the anti-Western BRICS economic alliance.
Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Jim Risch (R-ID) lauded Rubio for giving him the boot, “I applaud @secrubio for calling out the South African ambassador’s disgraceful, anti-American hate speech.”
“Suffice it to say that he is not cut out for diplomacy,” he said, referring to Rasool, according to the Daily Wire.
For more context on Rasool’s American-hating viewpoints, Breitbart provided a lengthy video highlighting his abhorrent stances. Here it is in full:

Rubio should be commended for banning Rasool. He has a long history of racism and anti-Semitism. His rhetoric incites hatred and violence as well.
The United States should not tolerate terrorists, race-baiters, communists, and those who disrespect our president. The Secretary of State’s move against a hateful ambassador is refreshing.
